Being You, Changing the World by Dr. Dain Heer is a weird (a word he frequently uses), quirky book which appears to be written quite casually and without much regard for proper English grammar, which is sometimes distracting but other times makes it more entertaining and readable. However, do not be fooled by appearances–there is a lot of depth and some potentially life-changing concepts. He brings a fresh perspective to many topics including sex, relationships, childhood sexual abuse and human potential. He often uses personal stories to illustrate his points, which I believe is brave and admirable. Whether he has read A Course in Miracles or not, many of his concepts are similar, especially his emphasis on letting go of judgment and being grateful.
